The TRAC System™ is a structural mounting system for rear-door carriers.

It uses bolt-on panel-gap brackets that pick up the factory hinge bolt holes, combined with profile-matched stiffener brackets welded to the carrier.

Together, they create a reinforced hinge-side structure and a controlled, stable way to manage dynamic forces allowing you to carry heavy loads with confidence.

  • Distributes slam forces across a greater surface area and towards the strongest sections
  • support heavy loads without stressing the door
  • counters twisting and oscillation

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How is the TRAC System™ different from basic panel-gap brackets?

Panel-gap brackets combined with profile-matched stiffener brackets work together to distribute forces across reinforced structural regions

Why is it superior to panel-gap brackets alone?

The TRAC System™ adds stiffening, controlled geometry, moderate preload, torsional resistance, and balanced load distribution, making the entire carrier-door interface stronger.

If the Contour brackets press against the door, could this scratch my door during installation?

All three brackets that align to the contour of the van have a rubber pads adeared to the surfaces that make contact with the door surface that prevent scratching during installation.

Do I need to drill into my van to install the TRAC?

The system is designed for a no-drill installation across all primary mounting points. Only one precision hole is required through the latch-side skin; this point is fully integrated into and protected by the TRAC load-path solution to prevent skin deformation.

Is the TRAC System™ patented?

The TRAC System™ is a patent pending load path structural mounting solution

While panel-gap brackets alone are prior art, the integrated TRAC architecture is novel. The system is currently patent pending No. GB2600961.3”
